IL Meet and BBQ - May 3rd
We tossed around the idea of a meet and greet in our other thread, IL Chapter. I would like to have a get together at my place. I would be willing to supply the grill and the space. I would ask that people contribute some meet and buns, ect to the event.
If the event brings alot of interest I would certainly be interested in becoming the IL Chapter President and organizing future events. I am going to make this an all Dodge truck get together, as I have invited some friends from Ramchargercentral.com also. This will be sorta an open house for my shop.
So bring you families, friends, most of all trucks!
When: May 3rd
Where: Patriot Performance Auto
600 S Pearl St.
Atlanta, IL 61723
217-553-3823
Contact: Eric Robinson
eric@patriotperformanceauto.com
Please post up if you will be attending and what type of food items you can contribute. Also it wouldn't hurt to have a project to work on and possibly teach some new comers about the Cummins engine. So if you have a small project that we can tackle, bring it along as my shop is yours for the day.
I look forward to having everyone!

Well I have sorta forgotten all about this. It looks like we will have a smaller group than anticipated. However we'll still have a fun time.
I'm really busy but hope to get things cleaned up and ready for the get together.
If you are definitely coming please drop me a IM

I don't have a definite head count, as many people who really showed some interest in other threads have yet to speak up. I'm going with around 10-15 people. I have some guys from Ramchargercentral.com that will be there. Should be a fun time.
As for a time. Anytime after 10 AM is good with me. I'll be around all day. Stay as late as you would like.

I may not be able to make it depends on if Tim goes. I am still waiting on the cam and inj pump to be built. I dont have a vehicle I trust to go that far from home with, and I wont take my moms powerstroke.

The topic of food came up last night as I was grocery shopping.
I'm going to goto Sams Club tomorrow and get some supplies. However I don't want to buy too much or too little meat. So I am leaving it upto you guys to bring some meat and dogs for the grill. I have a nice sized propane grill and will have plenty of condiments and eating utensils. Also have a big fridge in the shop for anything you bring, especially beer!!
Looking forward to having you guys over. I don't have a big shop, but there should be plenty of room if the weather turns bad.
