Hunter Dodge and the Antelope Valley chapter of the TDR are putting on the third annual "Diesels in the desert"Truck show and shine,on Sat.October 18 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.Their will be vendors, seminars, live brodcast,and charity BBQ.
Should be a couple hundred trucks there!If you got nothing to do come on out!Take Hwy 14 to Ave.K go right, first st.go right,follow it to stop sign,go right,first st.go left.Show is on the right!

How'd the Diesels In The Desert turn out. Got any pictures? I used to be with that Chapter before I left Edwards AFB in June 2000. At that time Leon was just talking about getting the show going over at Hunter Dodge.

 

Well the show went real good,had about a couple hundred people show up and about 30 trucks in the show.Vendor turn out was pretty good,John McWorter did a great job on the BBQ,and Leon and the TDR folks did a great job on the event,And the poker run was blast!Did not get any pictures for myself but took a bunch for Hunter Dodge.
