Only a few days until the fun begins!!

We would like to thank SP Diesel and Painless Performance for their catering donation for Saturday We still need people to bring food for our usual "pot luck" though!!! There will be in excess of 300 people to feed on Saturday and at least 100-150 on Sunday!!

From the looks of the list we are still in need of items for the grill and side dishes.

Please look over the list in the link below and help myself and the club keep it up to date

http://home.comcast.net/~gdapron/Fall_Brawl_07.htm

We would also like to ask those that plan on attending both days to be flexible with dynoing and be willing to roll on Sunday if necessary to allow people who will only be there on Saturday the opportunity to get on the dyno. We will be using a new "Tee Time" format for the dyno this year which should help ease the dyno line waiting and free up everyone to enjoy all there is at the show!!

So get pumped.........and we will see you there!!!!

Camping is OK but there are a few rules....

No fires
Cannot setup tents in parking areas
Campers have a designated area for use
Everyone must be considerate of the grass areas especially is we get rain

Well this week has been one to strain my patience.I will not understand why when businesses say they will cover the trophy fees and then when you go to collect, they give you a resounding "I am NOT interested at all now".TWO of them did that this year, the one for our class trophies and the one for our Show-N-Shine Trophies.I understand in business things do change, but,it sure would help with a little communication so it does not create a last minute scramble like Jetpilot and I are in now.We have about got it covered and I will now drop a update in quick before bed.

UPDATE!!!!!...Here ya go hot off the press today......

Class awards now will be provided by the "Geno's Garage" group and I would like to thank Robin,Robert and the entire group there for helping us out in a pinch when we needed it.

Torque Challenge Awards are being sponsored by "Old Chickies Hill Auto Transport" and our resident speed doctor Mr.MPH himself,Oasis-3.Thanks Cliff again for the help we certainly do appreciate it.

Show-N-Shine awards will be provided by "Renegade Diesel Performance" of Lancaster,PA.Those awards will be the following classes..Best Dodge,Best Ford,Best Chevy/GMC and Best Conversion.I would like to thank Scott for stepping in and filling one of the last minute vacancies and helping us out as it is certainly appreciated.

One award not talked about which I have secured is one for the Ford crowd. It has been noticed that we are finally having more Ford owners to come out and enjoy our shows and the fun that goes along with it.To show our appreciation we have added an award for the "Highest HP Ford" which is sponsored by "The Dieselsite".The Rileys have stepped in and allowed us to add this so we could show our appreciation of those Ford owners who have been growing in numbers. To be eligible for this award you must have a Ford vehicle, powered by a Ford Powerstroke(conversions allowed-example-Bronco/Van equipped with a Powerstroke or IDI),single charger and be on #2 alone. This will be the first award given solely to the Ford Contingent and may next year grow into a class separation for them.I am trying gang, show me you want this and next year will be bigger and better.

There was a question sent to me about camping on site and it is allowed. Please try and stay on top in the stone lot or along the edge so when the show is going on you have no one messing with your equipment.Another question was tent camping and that will also be allowed,HOWEVER,stay along the outside and please no open fires.

I will add a little more tomorrow as I find out who will be there vendor wise and who will not.I will also echo Greg and Jims requests with remember that we will still need food to cook even though the SP Diesel group is having a catered BBQ(THANKS GUYS!).I will drop in tomorrow with more.......Andy

Talking

It's a good thing you did that award for the Ferd owners. Don't want them feeling left out when the Cummins will dominate the Dyno.
Just don't make it like peewee soccer when everyone gets a trophy.

Let the trash talking begin......................

The remaining funds for the Class Trophies was donated to the club by Lloyd Mills and "Mid Atlantic Diesel Performance".He joins Geno's Garage as the sponsors for the 4 classes of competition this year.THANKS LLOYD and we will make every effort to make sure your paper plate is Multi-colored this year.

Vendors...
Zimmies Automotive will be on hand as will D-P Tuner,Eric from Innovative,Scott from Renegade Diesel and Corey from PDW.I think, and I may be mistaken here, that Zimmies will be the only one with a table set up but Corey may also have one.Seems most calls were unanswered as were the emails and I do not understand for the life of me why.I also do not think that any magazine will be on hand as none of our email sent from a couple of us got any response.

Weather looks like it will give us mineshaft air(below sea level air) Saturday and it should make for a good,no a great HP day.Look forward to seeing all who come and enjoy the fun......Andy

When I left this afternoon, JohnP had high HP at 817 on #2 and 891 with a 31 jet of giggly gas. TiminVA ran 875 I believe. Three other Virginians were at the 700+ hp mark on fuel.
