Andy, I have a bunch of pics of the Dakota, Fred's Copper Beast, and Otto's hotrod, when I get em loaded I'll send em to ya.
WOW, what a great weekend. A big thank you to Andy, Scott, Doug and Greg for getting the show together and running the dyno. Thanks also to Jim and Keith for the grill work and good food. And finally to Ernie and the rest of the Kuaffman's crew, thank you for allowing us to take your place over for the weekend.
IS IT SPRING YET?

Man How can a guy forget to mention "Evil Otto" when he talked about Sunday's happenings,LOL.Some one needs to kick me in ths shin bone for that one,LOL.My friend Scott who went for a ride in the "Otto Rod" was last heard by me mumbling about his ride,LOL.Then after he loaded up he did the best imitation of the Exton show at Morelli's by attempting to make his tires scream in pain. After all,How many guys do we all know that drive around with the "Otto Rod" on the trailer, hooked to his truck and STILL be on the street frying the tires in a burnout.Otto dude, your just not right,LOL........Andy
501hp and 918tq. im happy with no pump wire, so i brought my dyno numbers into school and i showed my teacher well he says the hp and tq curves shouldnt have crossed untill i have hit atleast 5252 rpm well i said its a diesel and he said then they shouldnt have crossed at all then if i never got to 5252 rpm could someone explain this to me im not to familier with this all but i like to go back and have an answer for him maybe teach the teacher something

Tell your teacher he needs to learn how to read scales

He is right, the lines never do cross. It only looks that way because the scale for the HP is different than the scale for the TQ

To have them on the same scale, you would need a peice of paper 17x11
Sounds like your teacher is trying to show you something about horsepower and torque. The way they are related is shown in this formula:
Horsepower = (Torque * RPM) / 5252 or:
Horsepower * 5252 = Torque * RPM
As you can see, the constant "5252" is in it, as well as "RPM".
By plugging numbers into the formula, you can see that when RPM = 5252, Torque would be equal to Horsepower.
With regard to "crossing", perhaps he missed the fact that the torque scale is on one side of the graph and the horsepower scale on the other.
Now go back & discuss it with him some more.

Even my jeep made it into the photos, awesome.
I kinda felt bad for it since it was sitting out there all alone by itself like a redheaded stepchild,LOL.Why not take a pic of it,it was there.
DBF..
Owen old Buddy...
Missed you up there and I think your smooth looking first genner would have not only cleaned up in that class but it probably would have had Wannadiesel drooling too.Maybe we will get to see you in the early part of the year next year when we slip down to Florida with the sprint car.BTW,too much math there, fried my brain.....Andy
