Hello
I went out to the race track on Sunday, they are ready for us to come fill the sky with Diesel Smoke.

The weather channel is calling for party sunny on Friday and Sunny on Saturday . The temp should be in the mid 50s or low 60s. Please don't hold me to that I am just writing what the weather channel forecasted.

For those that have not made hotel res. yet I think I would go with either the Super 8 or the Holiday Inn Express both are on 17 South are close to the Golden Corral and a bar.

I actually wanted to come and make this event. A couple of things happened, I have a club coming to dyno and that darn holiday got in the way... Christmas I believe. ;D

Was going to be a haul down but worth it... and Jeff has the drag truck down right now. Getting some new stuff. His goal for next year is a 10.0 since that is as fast as he will certify for, then he'll probably start playing with the 1/8 mile times.

When I think about Jeff's set-up, I have to laugh - ancient twins from 1999, little pump etc. Should be fun though for next year to watch him develop a little more power... 8)

 

Well looks like I am not going to be able to make it :'(

(chasing the 2 year old around the Christmas tree) Somewhere between the, tackle and the half nelson I blew out my knee. I don't know who taught the 2 year old how to do a half nelson

Anyway, off to see the surgeon wednesday, I doubt I will be ambulatory by friday :'(

That would have been more than the folks here in Jacksonville would have been able to take two of those big smokin diesel trucks that will run down the track in 12 seconds or less. 8) 8)

Got a truck coming from Claremont, a truck from Wakefield, and a truck from Disputanta I believe that I know of.

I think it has found a home in a great looking 2 wheel drive BLUE truck that is from up in the Va way. 8)

I am thinking of selling a TST PM 3 with remote from a 2001.
I don't use it. My stock truck runs fine with out it turned on I turn it on when one of those little cars gets to close then I turn it on and slow down and then give the car a good dose of DIESEL number 2.

Company holiday party Friday night, not sure what condition I'll be in Sat. morning.

Count me in for the fun, I won't be able to do the Friday thing, I have a Christmas party to go to :'(. Hopefully my Edge box comes in before this weekend, if not I will have to borrow one, just to see what kind of numbers my mostly stock truck will do. I need to have some fun, because Sunday, I turn 30 :'(

 

One of the new guys to Chapter# 7 here. Looks like I'll make it early Saturday morning. ;D

 

I will be down Friday around lunch. Will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express, but will probably make the rounds through the campgrounds to see everyone. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Tim
