Well, I was contemplating coming up there but the new span of the Wilson bridge is opening up on I95 and believe it or not they are telling us to stay away because the traffic will be horrible!!! Funny how everytime they open a new section of this project around here that traffic gets worse... I was looking forward to this too........

Why would it be different from any other day?
That bottle neck is always screwed up.

I'm lame.

I spent 3 hours washing, waxing and tinkering with my truck yesterday. I got busy around the house today, by the time I took a second to stop and look at my watch it was 2:40.

What was the offical turnout?

Sorry I missed it, guys. I started changing the springs on my Cherokee early this morning, things were going well until I busted off one of the upper shackle nuts that are welded up inside the frame. I wound up having to pull the bumper off and cut a hole so I could torch it off. 2 hour job turned into a 7 hour nightmare.

i showed up way late (4:45) after driving back from ocean city for the hot rod cruise. got to sit and talk with scott a bit about trucks before finally heading home...why is it that vacations are supposed to relax you but you still end up more tired afterwards than you were before

Hey guys thanks for coming. Great time and met a lot of friends. Good to put a name and face to a screen name.
Maybe we could do it again next month or get together for a wrench job on someone's rig. I got the lift if needed.
stay tuned

PS hey Lou nice to see you stopped lurking.
Hey Getblown5.9, cool burn out, I'm sure some of the other guys would have liked to check out your truck.

man i guess im a celebrity in these parts i hope to meet you guys at the next one. it puts a smile on my face to hear you guys wanted to check out my truck...i spend tons fo money and time working on it and it finally pays off to get some respect from others rather than hearing "why do you even try to make an 8,000lbs 6spd diesel fast/powerful" (the answer is because I CAN, and its fun to run a 14sec 1/4 mile shifting gears in an oil burner)

ill get some guys to come to the next meet, ill make sure the meet gets cross posted over on the mason dixon turbo diesel club forum, there are LOTS of guys over there that will show up! cant wait!

if scotts willing to let us hang out in his parking lot or come into his store and buy some wings im ready for another one. i need to hang out with some fellow CTDer's. im tired of all the ricers at the local meets (mostly young folks like me) i am ready to play with some big diesels!

im tossing around the idea of having a few guys at my place for a mod day if anyone wants to do some work. ive gotten real good at gauges installs, box installs, turbos, and injectors. and given enough time and help ill pull another tranny and help someone put a clutch in!

Sounds good to me TJ, pick a date and we'll make it happen.
As far as the Mod day goes if it is a tranny i have a 10,000# lift in my garage for use, makes tranny work easier. Check out my Gallery.
As far as food goes i know the President of the wing place and she is really nice. Maybe i could work out a discount for the DTR people . There is also a pasta place and chinese carryout.
see ya

if it wasnt for the fact that i had to pull my tranny and let the truck sit for 2 weeks while waiting for the tranny rebuild, and clutch to come in that lift would have made it so much easier.

i may have to come up there with some scrap metal soon and start fabbing my traction bars i mean i can cut and grind but i sure cant weld yet

as for the meet, you let me know whats good for you, im busy the next 2 weekends then im good for about 6 weeks until hunting season starts.
