DHRA Nationals @ IRP 2006??

I got a few questions for the guys that have been to this event in the past. My buddy and I are planning to make a trip this June out to IRP to check out the event and I was wondering if you have to buy tickets in advanced to get into the event or if you can purchase them once you are there. Another question is that we are looking into either buying or renting a pop trailier and i wanted to know what campgrounds there were in the area if any. Any info would be great, want to get things lined up ahead of time, Thanks

Tickets/bracelets available on the grounds at IRP. Should be the biggest pickup diesel event in the country, a must attend. I'm not sure if tickets are available in advance. There is a small first come first serve camping area at IRP. But its on blacktop. Temps were in the high 90*'s, so I'd hate to be sleeping over blacktop. Be best to get more info from DHRA's site.

If this is like the last 5 years, the tickets are available when you arrive Saturday morning at the track. If you've never been, I suggest arriving friday noon or earlier to get setup for the night activities.

I live in Indy. There are four hotels right out side of Irp. Down the road about 7 miles. The event is packed and awsome. If you want a booth you must call DHRA First. Its a lot of fun. At night go to the bars.......women .....AWSOME. The hotels are packed with diesel heads. It is total Anarchy.
