well is everyone ready for next weekend cause its coming quick. i'm getting egged on by a couple of my friends about pulling up at the buck and i might just do it.

 

im hoping to have mine running and out for a road test next week. the new charger should be here by the end of the week

 

Man this sucks I've been planning this trip ever since the first posting and now my dad out of all days to get married June 2nd is what they came up with darn it. Is it only a one day thing,if not when is the next one?

 

I'm with you there too BlackSunshine! I have a friend in Reading who's getting married on the 2nd. I know June is a hot month to get married and all...but, man just too much stuff crammed in there for one day..LoL. His reception is scheduled to start at 4:30, so with any luck.. we can ditch the monkey suits and bale to the Buck for at least the 2nd half of the night..

PS, this same event is also scheduled for July 21st and Sept. 8th. The diesel pickup competition has gotten hot enough that they've incorporated it into the Buck calender 3 times this season.

 

even made it a points series...so you gotta be there for all 3 to win the money! hopefully i can make it to all 3 and give myself a fair shot at some prize money.

 

well this weekend is the Buck the meeting place has been changed from wings to go (R.I.P.) to the royal farms store right on route 1 (belair rd) just north of 152 (mountain rd) we will meet there then head up in a convoy.

to get there for guys coming up from southern maryland take 95 north to exit 74 make a left onto 152 go 4 miles and make a right onto route 1 the royal farms is on the right about 1/2 mile up route 1.

What time does everything get started? I've looked around on their website and can't seem to find when everything gets started? Just curious as someone in this thread said to get there early to setup campers (and get a good spot).

You are correct. I finally noticed it says "unless otherwise noted: Events start at 7pm and gates open at 5pm".

nope not ready, and hopefully the punks that broke into my old mans truck last night dont try to come back again this week for my truck.

i should prolly just stay home tho since its a real track and a real sled and i stand no chance. LOL j/k brett.
