Blue Ridge Hillclimb Event - North Carolina - May 17 & 18

I know this isn't Dodge or Diesel related, but the Central Carolina Region SCCA (North Carolina) is having a hillclimb race May 17th and 18th in Laurel Springs (Sparta), N.C.
Here's the link: Blue Ridge Hillclimb Home Page

For those of you that do not know what a hillclimb race is...It's a race whereas as one car competes against the clock. There are (technically) no other cars on the course that you have to worry about. It is on a public road (i.e. asphalt) that is closed for two days. The distance is just over a mile long up a curvey road. There will be a few Busch Series stock cars, a variety of other cars and race cars, open wheel race cars, and specially built hillclimb "Special" cars. These "Special" cars are open or closed wheel cars that weigh about 700 to 900 lbs and are putting out anywhere from 600 to 900 Horse Power to the Wheels.

If you don't have anything to do that weekend...well, it's pretty fun to watch...

I believe if there were very minor turns, steeper grade, and a weight minimum of 8,000 lbs, then we would take the top spots.
