I heard about this from a powersroke guy on the interstate (he had stacks too ) its called Diesels in the Desert and will be on Sept 1 at Speedworld. It looks like it would be pretty cool and it includes ALL diesels. Looks like there will be prizes and trophies etc for drag racing. You can also just test and tune on the racetrack. Assuming I'm still around, I'm planning on going. The ford isn't red is it? I know another guy in tucson with a red ford and a black 2gen cummins who is probably heading up too.

The Ford I saw was a white extended cab. He had miter cut stacks.

 

I might head up there. Truck isn't set up too well for drag racing.

BTW guys, $5 street night at SIR this Saturday night- a good night to come out and toast some rice- let me know if you want to meet up-- 2 second gens were there last week. One of the guys had done a nice job of fabbing up tubular headers.

I'm there allready I think!!! Just hope the truck is running good this time. Last time at the track a couple months ago, she was running 2tenths slower than normal. Of course it was humid as all holly heck and pretty hot too, so we'll just see.

 

No pre-sign up needed, just show up and register. Street legal night was great at SIR- I turned Torque management off and got my all time best of 13.499.

Also met another Cummins guy, he's interested in coming up to Diesels in the Desert too. Should be fun.

 

Ill see yall tonight! Unfortunately I wont be racing due to a slipping converter, but it will be fun none the less! Ill be meeting up at the convey at the hotel at 6, hope to see yall there!
