It was a good time-even though I think I was the last guy to show......although the Silver Cloud was clean for a change-that just lets the rock chips, scratches and rust shine through!

Hey GG-didya get some klicks on your Rinny yet? Mine is sitting on my trailer right now-had to use it for work yesterday so I took it to town this afternoon and cleaned it up again.

I gotta admit-the 1st ride on my Rinny I was less than impressed-keep in mind that I came off my sled (an 800cc MXZ-REV) straight on to it. After I figured out that it was comparing apples to oranges, and riding with some other guys, I was a lot happier. The only minor fly in the ointment is the engine braking compared to a gearjammer-but for everything else it's a sweetie alright!

Hmmm an official AB DTR quad ride, JHansen can spend some of that operating cash and buy the beer, just need to find a spot in the middle of everyone.

Never seem to have too much of a problem finding ways to spend my wages normally-but thanks for the suggestion anyways there Don!

I gotta get some accessories for mine-at the very least a tire upgrade and some storage boxes. The stock tires are crappy-and I need to be able to pack a few tools etc. for work. Thinking heated grips and thumb too for when I have to use it below 0 crawling into leases......then skidplates......**** thing is almost as bad as a sled.

On that topic, I'm probably gonna take my sled water-skipping one of these days. My brother doesn't have enough water in his dam (lengthwise, not depthwise!) so I'll have to find a prime location to try it out here one of these days.

There's gotta be a few more guys in the group that have quads-I know some of the DTW guys do. I'd be in for a play day if it matched up with my days-off.

J, I put a set of 26" Mud lights on my 450 Kodiak, pretty happy with the traction. I also own an old big bear with 26" Blackwaters and they work well on it also. We like to find the impossible to cross muskeg holes and give the winches a workout. One good place to get muddy is at the Brazau Dam. About 20 min. west of Drayton Valley. We are headed there at the end of April for a weekend getaway.

I need HELP....

Basically my workload has taken all my free time (good for business, bad for social events). If anyone would like to take on the position of organizer, I would appreciate it, as would all the rest of us I am sure.. I will be circulating an email to those on the list to try to rally for this position.

Thank you..

JHansen I got out with the Rinny this past weekend. Did you know if you loose battery power your unit will default into 2wd. This sucks cause they sold me a bad battery with mine. I got some kind of stuck. all was going smotth till 2wd kicked in and the Rinny almost sunk out of site so i gunned it and she shot mud as far as i could see. Too bad i wanted to stay clean..

Didn't know that.....but I guess it makes sense seeing as the 4x4 engagement is an electromagnetic clutch. Mine just rolled over the 150 km mark-1st oil change. Haven't used it for over a month again now-and I don't know when I'll go out again as my riding buddy got his stolen just before May long weekend. Any of you guys who are poking around the west country, keep your eyes out for a yellow '02 450ES with 28" 580 tires and C-series rims, loud exhaust, a winch, front rack extension and rear rack box. Ignition switch will either have been buggered up or replaced as he has both keys in his possession. I don't think it's coming back now-and to be honest I don't think he wants it back now, he just would like to find out who the jerkoffs were that took it......
