Any idea how long you guys will be parked up there on the 27th? I'm hoping to run up there after I get moved.

THere is no time limit.. I don't know how long we are going to stay. I know I will be the last one leaving LOL..

BTW, I thought by starting this thread a 1.5 months ago would have been enough time to lead up.

I agree the next meet should be set for May/June IMHO.. We need a dyno!!!

FYI
The BD-PAL guys are having dyno-days in Calgary sometime in April.
The discounts at Airdrie Chrysler are available to those that identify themselves as DTR or TDR members.

Balzac can you post the exact dates when you find out I would like to attend if possible. Thanks... What kind of discounts are we talking?

Dyno day at BD-PAAL is on May 1st. Not sure of all the details, but it is that day for sure. Was there the other day and it was confirmed then.

It will be interesting to see what happens at this show. For those that are not aware, BD-Power bought Performance Assist and it is now an Alberta BD-Power shop.

Time will tell.

Don't know that I'll ever show my face at another PAAL dyno day after the last fiasco-between the bizarre dyno readings, the favoritism towards their own guys (Red Deer Boy and that doorknob with the $100K+ Duramax) and the smoke-show gong show I lost my appetite in a hell of a hurry.

Doesn't matter anyways-I work May 1 so that precludes me going anyhoooow......

I forgot that that is where the altered readings came from, I guess I'll scratch that one out of the day timer.

Don't dispair boys.. We will find a reputable dyno for us to have our show. Mind you I don't have all the contacts Scotty has, but time will tell.

I tried to check with DynoMotive here in Calgary, no answer. They sold the building he was renting and he is relocating somewhere? A few of us were there when Tim was testing his PS. Numbers were fairly accurate. I remember we mentioned a play day and it was only like $400 bucks for the day as many runs as we wanted. 10 trucks means a cheap test and tune!!

As for the May 1 show, who knows! It's owned by BD-Power now. Kevin and the boys are gone. Actually, moved around the corner to open another shop. If BD runs the dyno day like they do at their Abbotsford shop, it will be a good show.

I spoke to Brian Roth (Owner of BD) for the better part of an hour and he knows about the "problems" that have plagued PAAL. He says they will be fixed and things will become a lot different!!! They have done some major changes already so let's hope it works. I'll stick my nose in there and let everyone know what goes down.

We have to talk Rod and Scotty into getting a dyno!!! I've never been to Nipawan!!

Homestead,

Keep us posted on the upgrades to the Calgary shop.. I am interested if they are doing a clean-sweep to give it a better name. I find it hard to believe they would want any part of that last fiasco to include the BD name.

I was trying another couple of contacts for a dyno.. I will email you with any developments Homestead..
