Jason,
I was experiencing a little "wishful thinking". I won't be able to make it. I should have realized just how long it takes to move. Thanks anyway. Next time.

Arrow Directions...

I was trying to insert a map of Lacombe, but I failed in my quest.

Finding the location is not that hard.

Basics, Lacombe is just off of Hwy 2 on the east side north of Red Deer by about 30 Km.

From the North:

Take Hwy 2 south to the Hwy 2A overpass to Lacombe/Red Deer, this is just after the 6 lane stretch from just south of Ponoka. Take the 2A offramp and a quick left on the overpass onto 2A. Follow 2A for about 8 Km into town and the English Estates/Co-Op plaza is on the West Side of the road and is the 2nd intersection.

From the South:

Take Hwy 2 North until you reach the Hwy 12 overpass to Lacombe/Stettler. Turn east on Hwy 12 into town until you reach the downtown intersection meeting Hwy 2A. Its a large intersection with Lights and a multiple railway crossing about 20ft to the east. Turn North on Hwy 2A and proceed approx 1.8 Km to the English Estates / Co-Op Plaza.

From the East/West:

Take Hwy 12 into town from either direction until you reach the Hwy 2A intersection as listed above. Turn North on Hwy 2A and proceed approx 1.8 Km to the English Estates / Co-Op Plaza.

I hope this is pretty easy for everyone to find. In my email messages to the DTR Group I included my phone number which is my Cell/Business phone. If you have any difficulties, please give me a ring and I can help you out.

Looking forward to the meet!!!

Ya, Jason,
We'll now be 14k west of Didsbury. Built a tin shack by the tracks with Dogpound Creek runnin' thru. Nice quiet spot.

Cool GOOD MEET!!!

Wow, what a turnout. I counted about 12-13 trucks and lots of different model years. I estimated about 18 people at the table in the restaurant. It was a good all around meet with lots of chit-chat and open hoods.

I hope we all made some good contacts. I know I did and putting a face to the name always helps. I just about fell over when I saw Craig93's truck. Dead ringer for my old 93

The last of us trickled out of the parking lot near 3:30 as we were about to tap a pyro in PSDKlones truck. But it was getting a little late.

I had a couple pics of the event. I will attempt to post a few and upload the rest to my gallery..

Cheers!

It was a great chance to meet some of the guys and put a face to a name as Lil Dog has mentioned. A great bunch of guys thats for sure, the Dog got his tools out and did some troubleshooting on my Pyro ( btw, it started working today, all by itself, must be the gauge? )

Freddy2pipes and I rode down with swampers in tow. My wife gave me the nod to sell the truck ( rides a bit harsh for her ), but I"ll keep it just so she will never want to drive it

Looking fwd to the next meet!

Craig.

Great time had by all. So much information and so little time. The sight of all the CTDs in the lot was truly heavenly. Even the mopar gasser guy was impressed. Bet he left the parking lot trying to justify a diesel to his better half. Looking forward to the next one.
