Alberta-Calgary dyno day

is that time again to see how the big three compare in the diesel world

i have a few cummins buddys, ford buddys, and chev guys that are looking to break a record or two, so we need to set a date, looking to be in febuary again, hopfully warmer weather than last year

taking any ideas on the date and location, hopfully have some twins comming for the date, any others that want to run the rollers let me know asap

maybe we can also figure on some events for the summer, sled pulls, drag strip and other fun events...

i am thinking the mustang shop in calgary because we ,were not invited back to the last

i know there is some guys that want revenge, right jason, and beaver

Interesting, We were just going to have another chin-wag in Red Deer in February as some guys couldn't make the last one.

A dyno event would probably bring a few others into the mix. I have one DTR member that has been contacting me with his new Twins.. Needs to get them "tuned in" LOL...

The sled pulls and drags may becoming more of a reality in central AB with the Rimbey track getting built.

I'm in for a get together. I'll watch the dyno stuff but not to interested in running my truck though.

We ever set a date for the next one yet? Can't remember.

I am not sure about revenge just simply putting down a good run, My truck ran like crap that day and later found out why, if you think I am looking for revenge on your beast you'll have to look elsewhere my truck turned right up is lower hp than what you "warm up" at I will be just watching in that area, however I feel I should be able to at least crack the 400 rwhp this time man that was a bad run 378 rwhp

First choice for me would be a Saturday late morning - I think my son would like to see some trucks blow smoke and I wouldn't mind some ideas and mods/local sources from you guys in Calgary. Gets to be a hassle sometimes having stuff sent up from the 'states.

Its too bad that we lost our contact at Waterous. They were very open to our diesel event and opened their shop to us.. Good Crew...

I think Scotty and Marshall had something to do with the negotiations..

I think having it on the weekend before or after Family Day would be good, since I'm sure people will have plans for the long weekend.

Hopefully my pump won't die on me 2 weeks before this meet.

Anybody thought of talking to CUMMINS? Definity count me in, I'd like a couple of runs on the new turbo and trans before going out to BD in April.

I tried Cummins back before we went to Waterous. They were not hot on the idea of having modified trucks in their bays. At least that was the word I got from the Calgary Cummins facility.

Same here in Regina. They want $189.00 per run and said to book all in advance. I politely laughed and then muttered bull[censored] under my breath and left.

Edited by the George Foreman Admin before the DTR Admin could. HA HA

let's get a date and location nailed down. If nothing works out for a dyno I would say my shop is available again.
