Who wants to help?
Ok guys I am FED UP!!!! I will be slowly or as fast as I can anyway be gathering the parts for a P-pump conversion on the truck. I consider myself to be somewhat of a good mechanic but will be the first to admitt I know nothing about P-pumps. If it is just a few of us we can do it on base here in the shop I'm sure in a weekend but I need to know if anyone thinks they could help me tackle this. I'm just tired of being worried about the truck breaking down. I'l have some things for sale soon to help finance this like my quad, an AR15/M4 rifle, and some other stuff. If you are close and interested let me know, I'd really appreciate some experienced help.

WOOOHOOOO brand new cam is on the way for the swap. I think a Maxspool 2 should help it breath better.
Ok so here is the plan I have decided on. I'll probly just end up going with an assembled kit with .084" lines and tubes, Spring for airdog to raise pressure, modded 160 thats set up with 4k gov. springs, full cut delivery valves, mack rack plug and a #10 plate, a Maxspool 2.5 cam, and hopefully a fluid damper. Seem like the right path? That is how the pump I want to buy will come, I'll probly trade out for 191 dv's. I'm thinking about running about 18-20* of timing to start. My current stuff is BD towing twins for now, 8x.011 injectors, custom intake horn, AD150, ARP studs and O-ring magic done by Tim Barber.

Well hopefully it will be finished up this weekend. I got most of the parts needed to complete the swap except a pigtail harness for the TPS.

me too. I got my lines from Schied and my fitting for the pump and spring from airdog today. Tomorrow the camsensor relocator, 4k GSK, 191DV's, and mack rack plug should be here. Now I just have to find oil fittings for the pump and block, hose for the fuel return, and the plug that goes into the TPS. Oh yeah and do the whole install lol.
