Well, finally got off the darn boat!!! I was hoping to go by 1stGen's and give a hand with the truck, but things came up at the house and had to go strait home. Don't look like we'll get it done in time for the dyno day. Sux really, but the bank will take some time processing the truck's refi. That, and don't know exactly what the cost of repairs will be yet.

Has the work begun yet?
Who's helping?

I've been wanting to watch/help or particpate in some way, but been too busy with my stuff - and don't see a break anytime soon. But if I know when the work is happening I might be able to MAKE TIME to show up.

yeh it has been done a little Tim. seems things have conspired against us though. between Ben's wife's car taking a crap to him getting sick and his family also getting sick. Now, my Jeep is down to very limited/emergency use with a driveshaft problem and can't seem to find a shop anywhere here that rebuilds the CV joint. Sure, i can order a whole new one for about $300-$400, but why should I ???

Here's an update...................................uh, Ben has had some medical problems in the family and has been doing the best he can trying to deal with everything. That, and I been on the boat and just now got some computer time. Also, lost my cell a few days ago and couldn't call or txt to find anything out. Finally got a replacement phone, but Bens # was on old phone. Got it now, as I found it here.

So thats it as of now. When I find out, I'll post more!!!!!

Thanks for the update.
I hope everything works out ok for Ben *and* you.

If there is anything I can do to help (I know that ain't much ), let me know. If I don't head out of here to go to Colorado next week, I think I'm finally gonna have some free time!

The *plan* is to help drive a U-Haul truck to Colorado, stay a week or 2, then fly back. But lately it seems "the plan" is changing faster than the price of fuel. I wouldn't be broken-hearted if I miss this trip. The May/June trip to CO WILL be a lot more fun.

June 1-8 (or maybe it is May 31 - June 7) is our scheduled week at Grand Timber Lodge, our timeshare in Breckenridge. I'll probably drive out there at least a week early who knows when I'll come back.

Well, since diesel is about 60 cents higher than gas I've traded with the wife and now she drives my truck. Anybody got a cheap motorcycle that gets good mileage?

Nope.
But I did pick up a 100 gallon fuel tank yesterday, so I can take advantage of the occasional good-deals, like the station that recently added diesel pumps and was selling .20 /gallon cheaper than everybody else at the time. I'll also be able to cruise past the EXPENSIVE places on my way to Colorado.

Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to mount this tank and run the lines.

Oh yeah... we had to stop at a Co-op store the other day and my daughter asked me what is a co-op.

After I explined it to her, I got to thinking ... maybe some of us can startup our own Biodiesel co-op. I have most of the parts to build an Appleseed Biodiesel Processor, but no place to put it. If someone else has space, maybe a few of the "local" folks can get together and create a nice setup and decide work on the details to generate bio for our (members) personal use (not for resale, that would get WAY to complicated).

If it works out, there could be bio-co-ops springing up all over the place.
