Gettin' better, but waaay too slow!

I've got a lot to do and WANT to work on my truck; but still only able to do a little bit at a time.

 

Hey Tim. I sure know that feeling. I wonder how some really afford the mods they do. Sure as heck can't be a working stiff like me with normally empty pockets.

 

Actually I was talking about my injuries/recovery; I'm phsyically able to work just a little at a time before my foot swells up or just plain hurts.

But now that you mention it, yeah, parts are expensive; and in less than 2 months I'll be retiring (unemployed, too young to collect pension benefits).

 

You know I've seriously thought about selling a stake in the truck just to get the money to finish it. But who would want to do it. LOL!!!!

 

I'll volunteer Dmax for that one.

 

He'd have the time if we could just get the women to leave him alone. Hmmmmm............I wonder how we could do that?

I don't want to punish him, just get him away from the women.

 

Actually, your sypmathy is misdirected.
You should be more concerned with how it might affect all those poor women who would be "punished" indirectly.

 

Thank you prospector! Thats right. Ridding society of me, the female part in particular, would be a terrible thing to do to them! I dont know if the women of the mid south area could function with out me now. I dont know what it is about them, but they hang around with me for a couple hours and its like they fall in love just that quick! Some its ok, others I just have to tell them, "hit the road"!

 

No, you see Dmax. Your not that good, they're just that desperate, and they know you have no commitment issues because you have been married before and been treated like garbage, so they're motherly instinct kicks in and they just want to take care of poor little ole' Dmax.
