Angry Moog JUNK!!!!!!

Well, yet another Moog ball joint thread.
The reason why my steering was so poor!!! Just like the Carli website pictures, these lower ball joints are horrific. These have 11,000kms on them, that's it. Looks like they were recycled and this is the second set installed on warranty. Took them out and switched to an XRF. Now my truck doesn't wander or steer funny. NO MORE BINDING

We spun them in a laythe and took the top edge of the cup off that holds it all together

Nice job there, actually getting in there to view the damage. I will have to agree, at that mileage those are defiinitely JUNK. Also would have to believe they were bad when you put them in. Have you contacted MOOG with this info? I'd be madder than a fistful of hornets!Best of luck with your new, improved front end!

I am going to contact Moog soon. I seen them come out of the box new and go into my truck at the tire shop that has done all my work for 10+ years. Very depressing when the XRF's are way cheaper and twice the ball joint than the Moog. Just want to also inform others here to spend the extra money on a better ball joint like the Carli or the Dynatrac or at least save some money and buy the XRF's.
Let's see what Moog has to say???

I am in the market for some ball joints as well. Has anyone cut apart a XRF ball joint? I know they are fairly new to the market for our trucks, but just wondering about the quality..

Sage cut them apart before and showed us the same thing.

MOOG has refunded money to some people on this site.
