I've been trying to make up my mind. While I have the time and money to go I'm not sure I "want" to go. These things are all about meeting people you talk to online and seeing the kind of trucks pull/race that you can't see every weekend in Jerkwater, MO. (no offense to the locals but you know what I mean) I keep reading about people still getting over priced Motel rooms in Plainfield, something that never happens this close to the event, and depending on which boards you read alot of hold outs this year.

I'm sure there will still be a TON of people there. But if they can't offer me anything I can't get closer to home why make the trip?

Tomorrow I'll change my mind again.

For those that are going what is the travel plan?

I am going. I have to go now. I need to find a room and figure out all of the plans but I have to go now. I know there are a bunch of guys in the St Louis area I will be meeting up with and convoying with. Time of departure is still unknown but it will be sometime friday. Plus I got to talk to Corey about hauling his truck out and about rooms but I AM going.

Nope he wanted to, but i really think he is glad he didnt. I heard the winers in every class got told that DHRA would sent them a check. I would of been real unhappy.
