I believe that they are at the Springfield Fairground ... er, excuse me Ozark Empire somethin'-or-other .

You going ?? I used to enjoy seeing them ol' hot rods and perusing the parts tables. I was planning on going but can't ..... I'm in sunny California right now.

Maybe you can pick up an old t-bucket .... and Pack can have a few beers and try to shoehorn a cummins in it .

The show is at the fairgrounds but the real show is at the track this weekend. They put on a heck of an outting on Street Machine weekend. It's legendary in these parts. Everything from Jets to top fuel rails and pro mods and wheel standing 10 inch tire cars. It's wild but very, very crowded. Hey Pistol I talked to your neighbor a little a couple of weeks ago, He was going to come up for the Ozark Mountain Mule Celebration in Ozark.

Chrisryn There are some new guys showing up around Nevada MO and Ft Scott KS. Maybe a wrench day in that area would be possible? Will the street machine nationals be going on through Sunday?

I'm shopping for an IC Boot vulcanizer/welder/riveter and a bottle of super glue.

 

I'd use gorilla glue if I were you.... I can't figure that out, I got a feeling something little is going to show to work.

 

I tell ya GS, I'm growing very tired of these "little things". I'm about to throw super glue, gorilla glue and belt dressing all at it.

I can't tell for sure what's going on, but I think the motor is torquing up and pulling the tube out of the IC boot down at the drivers intercooler connection. I don't think that the boot is blowing off from the pressure. These new boots I have are really stiff and I think they can't stretch enough under load to stay attached.

 

Things happen.........

 

i had that problem on my 98. i made the tubes about 2" longer on all of em and never had the problem again. i'm just tickled to death i got to drive it home.
