we are thinking may 18th also pack is in it. umm oh ya get reservations im bringing me a rider and about 4 to 6 other trucks one is a 2001 dodge with 12in lift.

Not 100% that I will make it home on time ... the guy that is training me this trip doesn't seem real confident that we can finish up on time. Gonna keep pushing him though ... he doesn't work weekends or overtime, so I am kinda at his mercy.

OK y'all ..... seats at Hemmingways are reserved and chow will be on the buffet line starting at 11:00. We have a minimum of 15 seats held for us but the manager will be giving me a courtesy call a couple days prior to to see if we will need more room (extra family members etc ...).

Sooooo .... if you would all be so kind as to respond to me either on this thread or in a PM as to how many you will be bringing to this hoo-haw and I will make sure they cook enough possum .

*** Be advised that Hemmingways will automatically tack on a 15% gratuity for parties larger than 15 people. This will show up on each of our bills (since Chris is being stingy with his kids college funds and ain't covering us ).

Still up in the air on whether I will be home in time to go or not .... .

Well now your making me do work... I got to figure out who all in the family is coming now that you mentioned possium... So that would be me, my first ex wife, our one kid and her new husbands kid, my ex wife #3 and our 3 kids, uncle tim, aunt fran, granny me maw, my cousin chad and his 2 wives (he lives in ark... just kidding puff) my sis kim, my aunt charley (don't ask) my second brother removed athony, my #1 ex wives kid, the 3 pitbulls, the chicken and the pet turtle from ex wife #3's 2nd child.... happy now?

 

I'll be bringing a friend, so 2 for me.

Possum? Do they offer substitutions? I prefer armadillo aka: possum on the half shell over regular possum. It's much better BBQ'd. Of course a good ole whistle pig ain't bad on the smoker either. Took off from work today to get the farm ready for the deer hunting crowd. I think the cabin is actually going to be empty for opening weekend this year. Most everyone is either staying in the house or bringing a camper.

 

I do believe im bringing 8 trucks, and im sure you can count on at least one rider per truck. yes i have lots of friends. no wait maybe i talk so much that they say yes to get off the phone

 

This whole deer season down here is way off.... I'm used to the first monday after thanksgiving. Schools and colleges have off, no one shows up to work if there is even work. This is like 3 weeks to early for me. However what do I know, out of the 247 deer I have gotten, not one has been during season. Hunting season is more like off season for us...

 

Rob, it'll be me and the BOSS and the daughter... so three and a shotgun/tupper combo.....

and I dont liek 'possum.....rather have squirrel pie...
