O'Reilly's does not want to have a truck pull at this events. I know from previous experience talking with them.

 

That is completly gay. I was planning on doin my first hook then. I thought that was just maybe 2 years ago I watched the sled pull there? I am really bummed by that I wanted the opportunity to have lots of people see the sled slam into me or drop a driveshaft or something.

 

they did have a pull a couple of years ago. it was a good show also. you can put on some junk tires and get in the burn out contest.

 

Yea, NADM has tried to get them back after a few things went down last fall but due to where the trucks would have to be parked and then woudl have to travel to get to the track so they have decided to stop doing that.

I wish they would bring it back but Eli said he highly doubts it will happen again. Also, 2 years ago there was a different Motorsports guy and afterwards positions changed and the new guy is a major dillweed as Matt and I can vouche for..... My buddy used to be the motorsports guy but after he left the truck pull things went downhill cause of the guy that got the position. The little city prep boy in there now really strikes a nerve with me.

 

If its just a show and shine im done with it. The obsticle course is cool and the mud pit was alright but both lacked the pizaz the truck pulling had. That was the first time I had seen a real truck pull and spawned my interest. A couple of years later im just about ready to pull and they quit doin it there. Alot of the little pulls have stupid rules like gotta be a county resident and what not. That was a good thing about that show.

 

I'll be honest with ya, lookin at trucks sitting in a parking lot does nothin for me. Even rollin around is totally LIMP.

If I wanted to see pretty trucks with a spit shine id buy a Truckin magazine and I woulda bought a stick-on hood scoop and a set of yosimite sam mud flaps.

They must be "tree-humpers". Anyway I considered diggin out the old stockers for the burnout myself but I dont think the 6spd will let me get her done. I need a brake bias controller so I can set a front e-brake. I looked into it before and ultimatly decided I didnt want to burn out that bad.
