Who has a plasma cutter?

Who has a plasma cutter?

And wants to help me strip the brackets off a Ford 8.8 so I can get it welded with the TJ brackets.

Plasma, cutters are over rated....

Torch and a 4" angle grinder and they come right off.

That is how I did the one in my Yota.....

Um....No sorry plasma cutters are awesome IMO. The only thing we use the torch for now is to heat steel to bend. I've got some 1/4" alum I'd like to see you cut with your torch. Not to mention how much cleaner and narrower cut you can get with one. (less to clean up)

Go with the torch it will get anything off and it doesn't have to be clean to cut. Not as smooth of a cut but that is what the grinder is for like b4wheeler said. My sets are on the jobs right now we should be finishing one up next week might be able to free up a set by next weekend.

get a cutting wheel for a 4 1/2" grinder... it goes through anything.
