I figured that some would get in with Todd in the camper when we met up with him. I know that you are old and your knees could not take that for that long. I really do not care who rides with who as long as everyone has a ride. Matts is a second gen, but we are meeting up with Todd a few hours into the trip I believe, Todd and Leonard can confirm this. I guess I need to familirize myself with the route that we are taking

I believe if you guys come down from 495 south on 95 it would be a shorter distance than meeting me way out on the other side of the Blue Ridge where I-64 and I-81 meet up. My plan was to take 301/207 over to I-95 down to Richmond and pick up I-64 heading west. So I think meeting up at Exit 104 on I-95 at either the Pilot Station or the Mr. Fuel (which usually has the cheaper fuel) would be best for the guys having to ride in back seats of 2nd Gens. Shorter trip for them guys to have to deal with. And if we're leaving at O' dark 30 there won't be much traffic if any going either way.

On a side note Cindy told me last night that if she's pregnant by then she probably will not go, she still on the fence as it is anyway. But she vows to have her mind made up atleast a couple of weeks before heading out. Women!!

From Kingsville, MD down to the I-64/I-81 interchange is about 200 miles and 3 1/2 to 4 hrs.
from Kingsville, MD to Ruther Glen, VA (Exit 104 on I-95) is about 143 and 2 1/2 hrs.
According to Yahoo maps.

Todd is it any harder or longer for you to bring 66 over to 81 just south of Winchester? If its out of your way, we can still meet you at 64, just gonna be a longer trip for those in the back seat of a 2nd gen.

Our best route leaving Baltimore is gonna head out 70W, down 340S to RT9, then RT7 to pick up 81S in Winchester (this takes less than 2 hours without traffic because we do it all the time going to our house in WV)

From there its only 14 miles to where 66 picks up, then from there its I-81 down to I-64, all the way over to Lexington, then pick up Rt60 to I65 which leads through Bowling Green.

Looks like it's 6 one half dozen the other. So I guess we're meeting up at the 66/81 interchange or somewhere near there. TJ, you know the area better where do you suggest? Preferable someplace with plenty of turning radius for trucks and trailers.

I do not know that 66 exchange too well, but i will ask a few people who do and see if there is a large trucks top near there where we might be able to top off and stretch our legs a bit.

Exit 298 on I-81, just past the 81/66 interchange has a few places, looks like they are big enough for the truck/trailers and maybe even a fuel stop.

Just to bump this up. Also have we sorted out who's riding with who? What time do we want to meet up, there has to be a truck type stop near the 81/66 interchange.

Ok, I was thinking of leaving at 3 am on Thursday morning from ? (my place has parking) If we leave then we should get to TS some time in the early afternoon. As of now I show this for driver/passengers

Travis's Truck towing TJ's truck - Travis, TJ, Scott, Keith
Todd's Truck pulling 5er- Todd, Cindy, Leonard, Sunir
Matt's truck - Matt, Ernie, Brad, Tony

Is this correct? Did I miss anyone? When we meet up with Todd we can rearrange if needed/wanted. If anyone has any other suggestions/comments please voice them.
