I am getting an HTS Ultmate Duty like Leonard with a billet input, billet triple disc convertor, and double deep mag-tec pan.. On the HTS website it is the hts47--1. Should be in some time this week...Cant wait.. Rode in one he had at the shop and it was amazing...
Getting it dynoed while it is there also..... On all settings just as a cool comparison.....

$3K for a billet tranny. Sign my up. I'll take one. More like $6K+.
I don't know why John took his truck to Lloyd (Mid Atlantic Performance) but we have installed quite a few trans in the Cave.

lots of misinformation in here.

can anyone tell me what a billet tranny is? there are such things as billet shafts but this magical billet tranny that costs so much is something i have not seen.

Billet input, intermediate & output shafts. They are about $750 each just to buy. Then throw in a triple disk and the other upgrades and it's easy to hit $6K. Keith paid just over $3K for a Goerends tranny.

I took the truck to Lloyd because I was in a hurry and needed the truck by this weekend. It did not turn out that way and I am still waiting.. Lloyd took me for a ride in a truck with the same trans in it and I was very impressed. I was also only charge a little more to have him do the work.. So, I felt it was easier to have that done than do it myself.
