Traction bars question.

My boss just gave me 2 10 foot sections of piping. They were used on his drilling rig that puts cable under ground. Im trying to figure out how to tell what type and strength they are. I dont know much about this kind of stuff.

Im hopeing they are just right so i can somehow make me some traction bars

the question is what is the inner and outer diameter of the pipe in the middle section not at the ends. that will determine if you can use it or not
