Surging???

Ok, here is my question...

Just hooked up my Quad box again after installing the new VP.

Everything was great during the test drive, the truck made huge power and ran great on all levels...

Not sure how long after, but only a couple of days, I turned the Quad back on and now I get a bad surge on all levels....

If I turn the box off, there is no sign or hint of surging at all...

Could this be the VP being screwed by the box tap or could it just be a loose connection or APPS setting..???
I did not tap the wire on the VP, I installed a stealth cover...

I had issues with my stealth cover. It always seemed to back off or the nut would fall off. Double check your connections with a test light. Including power and ground to the box.

My AD has always surged. Not as bad now but still does it.
Do what Rick said and see what happens.

Mine never surged with the old VP and it did not do it when first reinstalled the Quad box.... Only started after being installed for about a week or so....
Going to check the connection at the Stealth cover...
Does not surge with the box off, so thinking it cannot be the APPS.

Like I said, its either the cover or the quad itself.

Sell all the box's and get a Smarty. Never any problems with the Smarty. Actually when i stacked the Smarty with my AD my surging went away.
