I just got a 99 2500 with 190k. It was one owner who I know well and it was maintained regularly. Meet one of the members at Pep Boys in White Marsch and have made my way here.

Looking to learn, this is my first Diesel. It has no mods now but hope to add some soon.

Chris

welcome to the DTR Chris!
I'm the one you met at Pep Boys. How's that tool box working for ya?
here is the link where we do most of the shooting the breeze.
Never Ending thread
so what do you want to do to your truck? We can help you out with anything you want, i highly recomend a FP (Fuel Pressure) gauge, these trucks are notorious for the LP (Lift Pump) failing and then taking out the IP (Injection Pump). Just let us know and we will point you in the right direction.
Also look around the 2nd gen section of the Forums, there's a lot to learn.
Welcome again!!!!!!!!!

Dude, I know Bobby and I aren't the first ones to be standing there looking at our trucks asking ourselves "What did I just do?"

I defintely am not complaining. I'm one of those guys that needs that gently nudge sometimes.
