More good news

I'm gettin a house built in pasadena. 2 car garage, pool and deck are already there. Construction starts tommorow! Something about an unfinished basement and a pool just begs for some good parties.

There will be a "housewarming" party around early december... Ill let everyone know when that time is more definite. And man am I glad to get out of the parents house!

That's good to hear Eric.
Where abouts in Pasadena? I lived there for about 10 years. Great neighborhood, terrible drivers and traffic.

Towards the end of Ft. Smallwood rd past compass point golf course. There is a big hole where the previous house was which caught on fire. Hopefully they have to remove alot of material to hit solid ground for the basement and I get 9 opr 10 foot ceilings. Its not a complex house... the builder built it 24 times last year so they have it down pretty well.

Good to hear rick, I figured you would nt be too far away. Don't be afraid to ask if you need some wrenchin. Hows your insurance agent treatin ya?
We have a decent amount of yardwork to do as it has not been maintained in 2 years. I found out there is a 8 year old Japanese Maple on the property.... supposed to be a $1k plant, if thats the case, im selling it.

I feel ya on the yard work....we had a bush/weed/vine or something growing along our fence and about 4' into our property...in six months I've done 6 fence sections worth lol....

Well the one neighbor, George is a close to retired plummer. Likes to talk and is an honest guy. There are burnout marks on the only road going to the house and the other neighbor has 2 goats and George says they are nice people. The diesel trucks and motorcycles should fit in well..... heck, its PASADENA! lol

Update... The whole house is up, 2 floors framed out and a roof. The next month will be plumbing, electrical, hvac, and finishing it up. I smell the mix of barley hops and jungle juice in the basement already.

The best time to party there is before there is anything hard to fix, IE NOW. It is hard to break the walls before there is any drywall.
