They were normal....It didnt happen all at once, it slowy started getting worse. The egt might have been a bit lower as the truck was running really bad....

Welp the good new is, the injectors are all in. The Cause of the over fueling was the tip, the very tip was broken off on #3. The Bad News.....The head has to come off. I've still got a misfire and I have pressure at the oil fill cap. So I guess I'll tow her down to my shop in College Park ina few days and start yanking the head.

Any Suggestions while I have the head off for handling more power etc?

Thanks guys!

That sucks, but while it is off ring it and put in head studs.

ask TJ, he knows a place that does ringing, get the head planed too. as for the studs you just buy them and put them in the place of the old ones, they are a stronger material that can handle alot more tension to hold the head down.

24 valve studs. they were around 300 bucks and the ones for the 12 valves were 560ish. not sure on the quality or material, i would just get them off purediesel so you know exactly what it is.

no need to ring and stud it, unnecessary money spent because from the sounds of it Rick uses the truck as a tow rig and DD. he is not going for all out performance, if he was he would have gotten 150hp sticks, not 60hp sticks
