man that looks like some good fun work. I wanted to try to make it out there this weekend to see if i can lend a hand but trying to take care of things before the baby comes. But if there is still work to be done next weekend i might be able to stop by and lend a hand for a while. And Todd if you still want my rims let me know and i will bring them out too.

 

anyone have a set of stock 3rd gen chrome plastic center caps? looking for a set to run on my pulling truck.

I was going to, but i want all 4, and the rear ones off your truck wont work because my lug nuts are different (SRW to DRW). If they would work I would use them.

 

So Wed i will be sanding my rockers and take the surface rust off my doors. I will also be putting undercoating on the rockers. While im doing that i will be clearing the drainage holes in the doors and putting oil or the undercoat in there.

Good looking. Now was it hard to do. I know the prep is where its at. Did u just scuff the paint or take it off. Any advise would be welcome.

Outside of the door I took down to bare metal and primed it. They were in good shape, but inside it was rough. one side cleaned up well, chipped out all the old rust down to good metal and primed. The other door was so bad I had 8" of seam gone, but had enough metal to tack weld it together to hold the outside peices to the inside guts. That door will need to be replaced in a few years.
