I have had to crank and re prime the system after changing the VP44. thoughts are that the relief valve is open. What do I need to do? Get a new one? I still have the old one...

 

sounds like you have a leak somewhere. need to check all your fuel line connections.

I know I started this whole wrenchin' weekend thought process but I'm going camping this weekend. Sorry gents. Keep posting though the season for other distractions is wearing thin.

 

Even if i had the money and wanted another truck i would not get it. Ya dont know how well everything was done. Nothing like that. Id rather do it myself or be there when its done.

He is (was) an engineer at Chrysler. Getting relocated out of the area, selling 12 of his personal vehicles (the reason he claimed it has very little miles on it).

I figure the truck is worth that....stock. Someone with the time could part it down to stock, make 3-4K and still sell the truck for $16K
