You gotta beb kidding me

So I am talking to the lunch wagon lady and one of the guys says "Travis shomeone just hit your Jeep." I'm confused, I was parked off the side of the road by about three feet and I walk over to see this.

Looks like the Jeep is getting a new door and fender on someone elses dime. That will lern her to drive with frost on her window.

be careful pushing it thru the insurance cause depending on the blue book and the damage done they could end up totaling it and you would be out the jeep. sometime it might be better to get a quote for the work and have them just give you the money for it. just make sure to write up a letter and have them sign it in front of a notary.

I've bought two vehicles back from the insurance company (NO salvage title). Father in law did a 94 PSD my nephew "totaled" too.

I wouldn't worry too much about the total loss aspect of it.

No insurance getting involved. She did not want to do anything of that nature. I am going to get a quote from Cliffs and she is giving me the $$$.

Mmmm, I hope that doesn't turn out to me a mistake.......

That being said, I got rear ended RIGHT in front of the state police barracks up here. The guy supposedly on his way to pick up his sick daughter from school.

In rare form, I felt bad for the guy.......let him just drive off. My beater would totaled from a TOW bill, let alone any damages.

ya'll keep you bad luck to yourselves i just put my new wheels on and i don't feel like having any one hit me.

travis just make sure you have her insurance information get the quote and let her cut you a check for it. if she doesn't want to pay it, tell her your going to her insurance company then!

it is easier when you are the one hit, than if you hit someone cause they could have a friend that is over pricing the work.

I do not have her insurance info, but I do have her drivers liscense info, a pic of here at the scene, and her cell #. If she does not want to own up for it then it will get reported. I am going to send my insurance the info and tell them to hold onto it becuase she is trying to pay out of pocket and not file a claim.
