P2146 Fuel Injector Group "A" Supply Voltage Circuit/Open

I am assuming this is not a good thing being that my check engine light is on and truck runs like crap off and on.

I just limped home from Aberdeen. It threw the code on 95 while doing 60 - 65 mph.

Any idea on the cause and the correction?

This is the wording on my monitor:

P2146 BANK 1 (CYLINDERS 1-3) SHORTED HIGH OR LOW

That is different than the website I looked the code up on.

I did not need this.

Hopefully it is a loose connection. Do you have the ability to clear codes with your Edge? If not swing by my place and we can clear it and see if it comes back, some times they are just a one time thing.

I cleared the code again and checked all the Edge connections (pushed them tight). I idled for a few minutes, went in forward and reverse in the driveway. I then took a short hop down the road and seems to be corrected. No codes.

Hopefully that was it. **crosses fingers**

Good idea. Where does one find dielectric grease? Wouldn't hurt to hit some on my trailer connections too.

LOL... thanks.

I thought it was a little more specialized. I did a search for it on the internet and found that it is at most auto stores, probably Wally World.
