Talking Tranny fluid change

Hey guys give me the low down on a fluid/filter change on my truck. Amount of fluid and filter #s if anybody knows?? Scotty... let me know when I can use the cave lift and $$$

Iirc it is 7 quarts and the filter can be bought at any parts store. Keep in mind that I am a stick guy and I could be wrong, but I believe that is what we have done before up here.

Auto trans? Should be close to 13 quarts of fluid. And if you have an after market torque converter that has a drain plug to drain. About 15 quarts.

IIRC, when i drained my converter and tranny down bretts, it took approx. 16 to fill it back up.

Yeah when you drop the valve body too, about 1 more quart of fluid gets drained.

speaking of auto trans my torq converter ate it self this weekend lots of stuff in the pan.

mark, walmart carries mopar atf +4.... works fine in mine, ive come to find out that all atf +4 is synthetic, so no use looking for one. i believe the mopar at walmat is like $4 something a qt.
