Hate to say it Rick, but something like traction bars should be made out of DOM tubing. Which is very expensive like $12 or more per foot.
Scott thats what I had from a Rock Slider Project I was building on a old Chevy....Sold the chevy and had some steel left over.

so how did the trans swap go yesterday?

We are still working on it, got it in yesterday but lost some retainer clips for the trans lines so he got those today and went to fill the trans and there was a hole in the dipstick so he has to get a new dipstick tomorrow and then it will be done.

wow, that sucks. i picked up them seats from mark. i put the driver seat in the living room and sat in it to get a feel off how they would be riding down the road. VERY NICE

The Verdict is In....Mr.Tire is paying me....They will be getting a invoice tomorrow once I see how much DOM is right now....Check will be at my door less then 1 week.

DOM in the size I used it $16.15 a Foot. Each Side 6.5' Long x 16.15 = $209.95 Plus Heim Joints.....

Since I built mine myself, Should I charge them labour?

yes it should be labor also, i think the parts plus your time and labor should be 400 bucks lol

why not charge them labor. consider it time and headache money. $60 an hour

At least $60/hr, welders are that much or more per hour.

heck yeah charge them labor cause your going to have to spend your time rebuilding them now
