I want to say thanks a whole bunch to you guys that came out to help me today. Ernie, John, Travis, Mark & Chris.
We also got John's truck done with the install of a new Pro-comp Black and the XZT installed. How was the ride home?
Thinking about having a Wrenchin day next Sat the 3rd followed by a bonfire. Travis said he will make Chili to eat too.
Sunir if you can't make it Sat then we can knock out your exhaust Friday night.

Ok now I have to make a pot of Chili. Now I just have to figure out if I need to make a double batch or just a single batch. Who all is coming? I will be there for the wrenching day. If Sunir comes over on Friday night for the exhaust give me a call, I should be able to lend a hand.

and Leonard doesnt have a clue about the drags, he woke up and texted me round noon while i was sitting at the track watching the race saying he wasn't gonna make it! the drags were fun tho, got to see a member here with a 99 24v make some low 12 passes before getting a new best of 11.75@114 without nitrous but i didnt get to see that pass. also brett was attempting make a nitrous pass when a shaft in the transmission let go and then had a huge nitrous backfire with a 5' flame ball coming out of his stack

I think it was due to the motor unloading when the tranny broke, and instantly not fueling, causing an abundance of nitrous and major lack of fuel in the motor...big bang!!!!!!!!! But the motor started up just fine again and is ok, the tranny is the only carnage.

 

yeah TJ is right have no clue about the drag races had a halloween party saturday night so i kinda thought i might not be making it to the races.

Friday night sounds like a strong chance to come up there. Len and I could just shoot over there after leaving work (if that works for him). Sat I have a wedding and reception to go to. Whoever else wants to come it'd be cool...be fun to see everyone again

 

i have my daughter this weekend so i'm out for friday night and saturday but things might really change after thursday i finally go to court for custody.

well if most folks can't make it up on Friday shall we postpone for another day? it's no big rush to get the exhaust on (in fact maybe I'll get some of those RV 275 injectors in a little while or an intake)...it'd be fun to share barley pops with more than just one or two buddies...

any thoughts? who would be interested in coming up Fri?
