Went last week during Oktoberfest! Had a great time, and drank way too much. Need to go buy another pair (3rd pair this year) of sunglasses. I don't do too well with sunglasses and barley pop, they just don't go together well for me...Have fun all.

Question Little Help

The insurance company is going to replace two of my tires because they are scarred bad from the accident. I am just going to go ahead and replace all four with new tires so I do not have uneven wear on half of them. I am looking for a good all-terain tire that has little to no road noise. I do not have the $$$ right now for a leveling kit so they have to tuck on the factory rims and not rub. Will a 305/70-75/17 work? Anyone know where I should get them from that has a sale currently? I do not really need to have anything bought before the middle of November because they are going to have it until Thanksgiving. I will post up more details when I get home but I would like info on this soon.

Thanks
Travis

Travis, Pro Comp is running their buy 3 get 1 free deal though the end of the month. It should be good at any Pro Comp dealer as it is a national promotion. If you can find a local Pro Comp dealer so you don't have to pay shipping, you should save some coin with this deal.

Can anyone tell me a good decent truck shop local that will have parts like 4-5" reducers, 5" 90-degree elbows, 4" flex-pipe, and possibly chrome stacks too?

Travis, the Nitto Terra Grappler is a nice tire that comes in a 295 size, little smaller than a 33, and should fit with minimal rubbing until you can get a leveling kit.

You can get all 4 shipped to your door for $805 from 4 wheel parts right now... so if insurance buys two...that would be a good deal.

Thanks, I have found several websites and reviews of the all terrain tire. Sounds like a good tire, not for the big question, will a 33/12.50R17 fit with out rubbing or minimal until I can get a leveling kit. I found one site that I can get all four shipped for $474 after insurance pays their part.

Thanks, I found a few other sites that also have them, but none as cheap as 4 wheel parts. Is this the tire that your dad has? These would cost me $612 after insurance pays their part.

I am not sure between the two, thanks guys for the quick responses. I am going to beat on the Insurance company and see about them paying for all four and full cost for the factory replacement which is $914, so I could really come out smelling like a rose on this deal. I might even be able to afford the leveling kit after this if they pay for all four factory replacement tires.

Thanks Rick, I do not have the $$$ to replace both the rims and tires currently and they are replacing two of the rims (including the one bad one from before hehe) and I like the factory look. I just want to get new tires. How do you like the Nitto Terra Grapplers? They look good on your truck but I am still undecided on tires. I am leaning towards the Pro-Comp all terrain tire since they have a 50k warranty and ore buy 3 get 1 so I technically only have to replace one then hehe. I am currently dealing with the insurance company on replacing four instead of two. Hopefully I can come ou tof this smelling like a rose (except for my raised premium).

Travis, I like the Nitto tires. I have been running them over 6 mos and they seem to be a good solid tire. They don't scream going down the road.

I got the tires for about $150 piece @ Auto & Truck Outfitters in White Marsh. Wheels were about $180. I just called them and price of the tires: $169. I think I caught tires on sale, if I recall. They have others as well there. I like dealing local when I can. 410-918-9600 ask for TJ. He took good care of my truck.

Might also check with Grumpy, he knows a place as well. Most of the folks had street trucks he dealt with though.

Good Luck
