possibly, he hasnt gotten back to me either through pm or phone call and if i was under the impression that i was being scammed i would have been blowing the sellers phone up. but honestly i dont care. im really considering having him deliver the transmission back to me on his dime so i can sell it to someone who offered me more money that what he payed for it.

Ford 6.9s/7.3s and 460s are the same bellhousing bolt pattern, if it came off a diesel it will not fit a smallblock 302/351W Ford.

Bobby, I looked at your ad on PSN, and that looks like a small block tranny to me. It doesn't have an external slave cylinder and there is no PTO, a diesel tranny would have both.

heres a pic of the truck before it had gotten rear ended. when i get home ill see if i can find more. Not saying that it is for a gasser but if it was why should i give the money back when they guy psersonally looked at the tranny and i sent him the same pictures that you saw ernie. its not like i shipped the thing across country i delivered it to him.

Somebody probably makes an adapter, but the ratios are different and aren't really suited to a diesel powerband. The internals probably aren't as strong either.

I am not trying to tell you what to do, just pointing out what I saw in the picture.

Where? They are pretty rare and a lot of them were XL gassers. I want an XLT with a PSD and a 5spd (I would take an auto but it would have to be pretty nice). They were only available for a year and a half, midway through 96-97. Amtrak had a bunch of them but they were XL gassers, and beat to hell by the time Amtrak got rid of them.

I need some help! I've gotten most of the sheet rock up in the living room and now need some good mudders to help finish it off.
I'll supply the beer and pizza. Saturday & Sunday are good for me. let me know if you can help, but please no amateurs, don't need any more of people like me making a mess of things.
Still working on getting quotes on the Cave electric, so if you know any electricians looking for work send them my way for a quote.

Sorry, I'll be out in Middletown at my son's doing 2 floors and fixing a frozen-broken pipe. They had 3" water in kitchen, couple weeks ago.

Yea that leaves me out as well. I suck at it. I'll hang drywall but finishing it, forget it! My motto in finishing is "You're going to need a bigger piece of sandpaper to make that look good"!
