that wasn't my engine stand that was up in the cave i think that was matt's that travis had borrowed. i have two at my house but they are currently holding up the rabbit
you can pick a 2000lbs engine stand up from harbor freight for under 100 bucks

 

Never buy anything from HF that might kill you or drop something very expensive!

 

exactly HF tools are best used as a hammer of some type lol.

 

I am going to need to get the same thing soon though, I am pulling the motor in the mustang and need to find a cherry picker and a engine stand cause i am going to replace the headgaskets and oilpan

when I had my motor out I put some 6x6's with 2x4 on the floor and set the motor on them worked great. did the same thing when I had the motor upsidedown no need for a stand

I hear ya....Im in Ocean City(also on somebodies internet) and I have yet to see the sun...tomorrow doesnt look too good either, beats going to work though
