I just picked up my pre-approval check so its time for me to start getting serious in looking. There is a truck in new jersey that i want to go take a look at but am wondering about registering it. Can they do MD registering at that dealership or do i have to just get temp tags or something and bring it back down here and get it inspected and then registered here. And do ya'll know anything about the taxes also, do i just pay the new jersey tax and then be exempt from the maryland tax when registering or do i have to pay both.
you have to pay taxes for both states, youll probably have to get temp tags and get an inspection and regs here. that why if you are going to buy outa states its best to buy in DE, since you only pay md fees

so i am going to have to pay almost 1500 in taxes when i buy the truck and then another 1500 in taxes when i drive back here and register the truck or do you have a certain time period that you are exempt

You only have to pay taxes once if the state that you purchase has the same or higher tax rate as MD. I only paid taxes once for my truck when I moved it here, paid them in IL, not MD. They will not give you a refund on the taxes either, I tried and the lady looked at me very funny.

its different if you are registering it from another state where YOU had it registered. but buying it and bringing it here to be registered requires that you pay all MD taxes to register and tag it

Did someone say cheap eBay Bi-Xenon HID kits? Yup got it, love it. Yes they are very bright, no more issues ever! Worth the buck and a half I paid, but now even cheaper on eBay.

Haven't been on in a few days, puter blew up. Got my new one up and running now so good.

Got a new line of fire/ice installed, still don't have all the parts to the new stereo, and still need to install a comp and a Raptor one day, so let me know if there is a wrenchin' day sometime soon.

white99stang you just have to make sure that you tell the dealer that you are bringing the truck back to maryland and they will not charge you taxes in NJ you just have to pay the maryland tax when you register it. the dealer will check your license and make sure that you are licensed in maryland and the address is a maryland address.
