Well it's gettin to be that time of year again...'ole man winter is coming! What are you fellas using in your trucks for antigel? Or are we not cold enough in MD to worry about it? How cold does it have to be to put something in there, and what to put in?

First winter with a CTD, here we go

I've never put anything in mine around here. You could keep a bottle of 911 in the truck in case, but I don't think it gets cold enough. Coldest I've seen with this truck is about 8*F and the truck was fine.

Technically, you can see problems around 20*.

In the winter I use Powerservice (white bottle), just to be sure.

It was in my coat from work, easy access.

As for the sticking through the bed, they will get there, I want covers before I put them on and I was busy last weekend so I could not get them done. Material for the covers is in the mail, I hope that it is here soon so I can whip them up, might take orders for some after I get mine done if I have extra material.

We got 2" last night. We pulled a neon out of a 5' deep ditch cut at 45 degrees, after the guy lost it in the turn. We used the 2001 5 sp to get it out. I was suprised it pulled it out. I got to hand the guy back his mirror that we ripped off after it got hung up on some vines ( kinda). He rode the "wall" of the ditch for 75' and the only thing that was messed up was a de-beaded right front tire and a busted marker light, no dents. I'm sure the scratches will show up nicely on a black car though. But no one got hurt.
