Do it!
I loved my DD1s. For the money, I think any DD injector is hard to beat.

Looks like a good deal. Depending on what they go for I say go for it.

You should be okay all the way to DDIIIs as long as you turn down the box for towing. With the comp turned up the 3's will get pretty toasty on your stock turbo.

If I push it I can warm up my DD1s and VA box, but I only have an HY turbo.

Go for it. As Geis says, his DD1s were (and still are) great! I love 'em!

DD1's or F1 equivalents are sweet; for a good deal even better! I'm looking into injectors also; most likely a very mild upgrade....thinking about the 40hp RV275 injectors for better mpg and everyday driveability and a slight improvment in hp

good luck Scott; hopefully I'll make it to the cave soon to start getting some goodies on the truck!

1. where are there diesel shops in md? (besides the one in hagerstown)

2. is there any HUGE disadvantage to getting a new tip for a stock injector vs replacing the whole stick? I figure I might as well do it right the first time, but not sure if i can afford a straight up "do it right" at the moment. But, if the nozzle can be swapped into the new sticks later down the road, is that something worth doing?

thanks!

Jammer 5's would be too smokey for me. You work for Lloyd? You should email me at the address in my sig so you can join the chapter like Lloyd.
