Howdo. I'm from southern OK and I'm here to soak up all I can about these trucks and their problems. I fairly recently bought me an 01 2500 qc 4x4 and of course I'm plagued with the dead pedal and torque converter issues. I appreciate ya'll opinions and info.

Welcome to the forums. Quite a bit of reading to do I'm sure. You might want to PM member timbo01 about the APPS issue.

Hi Dave....Sounds like you are just up the road from me. The North Texas DTR #8 is pretty active and usually always have a meet planned/or going at any given time if you want to join up with us sometime.

Our next GTG will be a sled pull event in Alvarado, TX Sept. 6th.

Most of our meets are at a ranch in Far Northern Collin County, Texas....

Member RowJ is very active and he comes down from Durant, OK...fyi. Several members have 2nd gen 01 models....also.

Just check in with us on one of the N. Texas DTR #8 threads in the National/Regional Chapters area of the main forum page.

Welcome to DTR!

Thank you much guys. I would love to go to some of these get togethers just to see how things work. It would be nice to talk with other cummins owners that expect more out of their trucks than them to just start and run.
