Hi all! I'm new to the forum and to diesel truck. I have been a Mopar guy for all my life. I even work for them. I just bought a 2005 2500 4X4 quadcab. I still have to sell my 2007 Ram 1500 4X4 QC. The 1500 wasn't enough to pull my 28' enclosed trailer empty let alone with the car and tools in it. So I found a great deal on this 2005 with 100,000 miles on it. A guy from work sold it to me for $500 over what the dealer offered him! I have a lot to learn and look forward to it. I'm a hardcore gearhead. i have a 86 Grand National with 46,000 miles and a high 8 second 86 Mustang with a SBC in it Thanks for the site!

Thanks for the welcome madhat! I built the car 2 years ago to race at Pinks all out at Martin Michigan. Car was finished 2 days before the race and ended up not being consistent at all. This year for Pinks all out in Norwalk Ohio I had more seat time and turned down the wick to try and run 9.80's figuring I'd have a better chance. That didnt turn out to well because the car still ran 9.30's lol. They ended up picking 10.40 cars anyways so I wasn't even close again. Oh well its fun to race either way.
