new from western mass and to diesels

hows it going everyone. been around motors and cars mostly my life, last build was 68 dart 440 and now im starting a rat rod dually build with a 36 ford and plan on putting an early cummins in it. its gonna need a whole lotta torque to get the tires moving so what better than a cummins. never worked with diesels before so came here for some help and guidence.
heres the truck, already started cutting it up, building a frame for it and gotta do work on around the bottom of the cab.

the rims are 22.5" and about a 42" tall tire

Welcone! Can't wait to see the truck. Are you going to use a current Dodge frame?

I was out hunting in Montana a few years ago and found a 1930s vintage Dodge school bus in perfect condition behind a ranchers barn. I did some measurements and it looked like it would fit on my 2500 Dodge 4 door chassis. The rancher said I could have it if I pulled it out. Would make a great camper........
