Hello Y'all,

I just purchased my first diesel a few weeks back.
It is a 2011 Ram 2500 6.7L Diesel, Laramie package.

I bought it to be able to pull my Jeep rock crawler, as I am venturing out further and futher and although it is street legal, something will break one day. Hence the purchase of the new truck.

My Truck has a leveling kit and running 35" BFG A/T's.

Great forum so far, still have a lot to learn, and trying to figure out how to delete all the emmission crap of this truck. But I'll wait a while until I am closer to not having any warranty.

Dutch from San Antonio, TX.

I'll be unplugging the EGR soon enough. Never had fuel efficient vehicles before, so it's not that big a deal to me. But I will be deleting in another 10-20K miles for sure.

For me it was more to avoid the plugged DPF fliters, being able idle for extended periods of time, having the flexibility to use high sulfur diesel in an emergency, etc.
I did gain some mileage and that was nice with fuel closing in on $4.00/gal.
