KDP jig in San Antonio

I live near San Antonio and was looking for a KDP jig. If anyone knows where I can get one soon, please PM me! I have 87000 miles on my '97 and am starting to break out in cold sweats at night after seeing a couple more dowels do something they weren't necessarily designed to do.

TIA
WHIFF

If no one is near you you can either join tdr for $35 and get on one of their jig borrow lists, but you may have to wait quite some time till it's your turn.

Better option is to buy a jig from Harold at rvhvnfn@juno.com for around $39 shipping included. Still cheaper than the seals if you do the tab method and a heck of a lot faster to perform.

Whatever you do don't procrastinate, the problem is very real and very expendsive. '97 is the most common year for dowel pin failures.

You know I think that when / if I find a extended cab 96 to 98 I am {currently looking for} after the test drive if it has not been tabbed or jigged yet, I would haul it home if it was very far and not start it till the dowel has been secured, that is how much I have come to respect the stupid thing that can and does fall out, call me paranoid but I cannot suffer the cost of the dammage to risk it ya know what I mean??? Goodluck,,,Rick

aw, heck.
I went ahead and slapped leather for Harold Bowers' jig kit. I figure there's no way I can take 4+ hours out of any day anymore, but 90 minutes should be doable. Change thread to read I will soon have a KDP jig kit in San Antonio!
