New guy from Southwest Pa.

Hello, My name is Mike. I finally switched over from a powerstroke to a 2001 Cummins. The truck I got is a 2001 Cummins ext. cab shortbed 4x4. It has a 5.5 Fabtech lift. 4" exhaust out the back and it came with a superchips program(extreme) in the ecm and it is stacked on a banks ottomind. Cold air intake as well. I plan on stacking a Comp box and a smarty like a friend of mine does. Any opinions on that would be appreciated. Would also like to do a set of injectors and a bigger turbo later this year. Would like to make 500-600 hp at the wheels. I also want to put a set of 6" stacks in the bed. Thats a lil about me and my truck. I am a lil new to the cummins world. Is there any simple tricks I can do to it? On the powerstroke ya pulled the wastegate hose and got 5 more pounds of boost. Such a thing on the cummins? I seen I still have the silencer ring that I can remove for a lil more noise.

Did you lift that pickup yourself or was it like that? I was thinkin about liftin mine and was wondering if you had to mod your steering box and everything for that size lift. thanks

Was already lifted. Though I see no mods to the steering box. I am going to put one of those stabilzer brackets on to help with it though. It is a really nice fabtech kit. They are a lil pricey but the stuff looks great. It also has an aftermarket trac bar on it. Another thing I want to change in the future is the lift blocks. I'd rather have all spring under the back to give less axle wrap.
