New to DTR

I am new to the site, so I have alot of reading to do. I am current looking at a 2006 Ram 2500 5.9 automatic. It has 43xxx on it and appears not to have been modified, has the sport package and all the bells and whistles.

I have been looking at lifts and various other modifications. Any thoughts on the mods would be appreciated. This will be the first diesel, my other rides are a 1999 SS Camaro, 1999 Jeep Cherokee, and 1968 Chevelle.

Hey, Ken, welcome to the DTR. Good looking truck, and nice car toys you have... I had a camaro when I was a kid...

You can go many ways with mods. I would reccomend:
Guages, air/exhaust, fuel pump upgrade.

Then, choose your programer. I have an edge and like it, but I'd go with a smarty.

All of which, is sold in the DTR store! Imagine that...

Whatever you do, good luck, and happy bombing!

Welcome to the website! You have some nice looking vehicles in your pictures! I had 1968 Chevelle SS 396/375 when I was growing up and wished I had hung on to that car!

Take care. Glad to have you aboard.

Thanks Guys I can't wait to get my 06. Went and seen it tonight looks like already had been lifted and other goodies done to it. It was very clean, now to the not so fun part haggling with the dealer...... Thanks for warning me Rpainter......LOL!!!

John_P glad to meet another Chevelle fan. Mine is not as fancy as your was, it's a Malibu 327/325hp 4 speed car. I want to make it super nice for my son someday ... that's the plan.

I will be asking lots of questions if I get this truck since it will be my first Diesel.
